The Importance of CLAY GO
Written by Johnrei Gonzaga
CLAY GO (Clean as you go) is an
implementation that started at 2015. It is a common practice used nowadays and
being implemented everywhere at schools including Bacolod Tay Tung High School
(BTTHS). This campaign was implemented so that people will become disciplined
at throwing trash in the trash can and cleaning the area they have worked on
back on its original state. This is good and all but do we really practice CLAY
GO?
CLAY GO has been practiced by some but
not everyone. This is much more seen in public areas but also seen in schools.
Every after event there are always trash lying around and you can seldom see
trash not being around because there is always one person that does not follow
the rules. CLAY GO in most schools are poorly implemented and after a month or
two, faded away because of the campaign not fully supported and poorly
implemented. Students will forget that CLAY GO even existed and start old habits
again.
CLAY GO is important so that students
will be more disciplined and it should be enhanced and supported so that
janitors would not have a hard time cleaning up trash. The best way to support
CLAY GO is to make everyone follow the rules. The importance of CLAY GO should
be strictly followed. The implementation of CLAY GO stations in the canteen
would really help sort out the dishes and the staff would have an easier time
to clean the dishes. CLAY GO would need more support and guidance of staff for
CLAY GO to be effective.
